 左锡云
左锡云 号“墨龙堂主”，中国美协天津分会会员，幼好书画，得津门艺术纷围熏陶之滋养。悟心笔墨，志有所向。后问业于恩师津派山水画大家李墨先生(李先生弟子众多，师兄何家英现任中国美协副主席)蒙昧初开。京津求学期间，幸识姚有多，周思聪，白庚延诸先生，点播顿悟，受益匪浅。而后经年主攻山水，兼修人物小品。山水画迷恋北宋诸家精髓。在创作上尽力营造一种山峰劈地摩天，气势磅礴的景象。人物小品则钟情于婉约曼妙，如诗如歌的幻境。岁月悠然已过花甲，近年作品陆续发表于各种画集，报刊。同时也被一些国内外藏家和机构收藏及关注。 Mr. Xiyun Zuoalso known as “Master of Molongtang”, member of Tianjin branch of Chinese Artists Association. He is fond of Chinese calligraphy and painting,nurtured by the artistic atmosphere in Tianjin since childhood. To follow his heart, he studies calligraphy and painting with great determination and ambition. He was first enlightened by his teacher Mr. Mo Li, who is a master of Tianjin style landscape painting (Mr. Li has many disciples and his senior fellow apprentice Mr. Jiaying He is the vice president of Chinese Artists Association.). During Zuo’s study in Beijing and Tianjin, he was fortunate to gain insight into painting from the enlightenment of Mr. Youduo Yao, Mr. Sicong Zhou and Mr. Gengyan Bai. For the following many years, he continued focusing on landscape painting while practicing figure painting. Mr. Zuo’s landscape painting style, which is infatuated with the essence of the Northern Song Dynasty, creates magnificent atmosphere with great momentum, while his creation of figure painting is obsessed with graceful and lithe atmosphere, like a poetic, cantabile fairyland.Leisurely years passed by, Mr. Zuo is over his sixtieth. In recent years, his works have been published in various collections of paintings, newspapers and periodicals.
